A Podcast by Geraldine Carter
You have looked around – and you didn’t have to look far – to see the pile of problems the world needs your help solving. And it’s in your DNA to respond. You know what it’s like to want to do something about a problem, develop a creative vision, and then… figure out what it actually takes to build something that is a part of the solution.
That was me, looking at deflating glaciers, longer wildfire seasons, and increasingly erratic weather. In 2008 I co-founded Climate Ride, an organization that has donated more than $4M to sustainability-related non-profits since inception. This kind of thinking is in my DNA, so I created She Thinks Big to support our community of purpose-driven entrepreneurs and business owners.
With expert interviews and real-time on-air coaching, come be inspired by the bright and courageous women who walk the path of doing good in the world.
I’m an entrepreneur and while I’m not a procrastinator, I probably don’t use my time as efficiently as possible. I felt like I was switching back and forth from tasks all the time. So I sat down with Geraldine and she asked me what my priorities are, and what I would like my priorities to be. Then she helped me block off my calendar so that my time would match my priorities. And I recommend that anyone who has the same problem that I did sit down with Geraldine and really help her ask you the right questions so that you can get the most out of your time.
Micah LarsenI am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do.
